Reporting an error in the figures
If a number here looks wrong, it helps enormously to include the page address and the figure you expected. Every value is taken unmodified from the Treasury's Fiscal Data API, so a discrepancy is usually one of three things: the Treasury revised the series after this site last rebuilt, the figure is being compared against a different series with a similar name, or there is a genuine bug in how the data is aggregated. All three are worth reporting.
Reusing the data
The underlying figures are U.S. government works in the public domain (17 U.S.C. §105) and need no permission from anyone to use. The CSV files are provided to make that straightforward. A link back is appreciated but not required.
What this site cannot help with
No advice can be given on whether to buy or sell any security, on tax treatment, or on anyone's individual financial circumstances. This site reports published figures and nothing more. For questions about the source data itself, the Treasury's Fiscal Data team is the authoritative place to ask.
